How AI Observer works
Every morning, before the Breakout entry window opens, AI Observer shows an AI model the last 10 daily candles, today's levels and today's US news calendar. The AI answers TREND or QUIET, a direction and a confidence. At 21:00 the tool records what really happened and updates a public scorecard.
- Never trades. It only records and scores the forecast.
- Your own API key. You pay your AI provider directly, typically cents a month. The key stays in your MetaTrader.
- An honest scorecard. It compares the AI with a lazy "always QUIET" guess, so a good-looking hit rate can't fool you.
Running Nov 2026 – 31 Jan 2027 with rules fixed in advance. We'll publish the scorecard either way.

Frequently asked questions
Does AI Observer place trades?+
Never. It asks an AI model for a daily forecast, records it, and at 21:00 records what really happened. It's a research tool.
Which AI does it use?+
A Claude model from Anthropic, using your own Anthropic API key. You pay Anthropic directly; one forecast a day typically costs cents per month.
Why is it in beta?+
We're running a public forward test until 31 January 2027 with rules fixed in advance. AI models already know what happened on past dates, so a fair test can only be done forward, on new days.
How is the forecast judged?+
By the average breakout result on days the AI called TREND versus QUIET, not by raw accuracy: a lazy 'always QUIET' guess is right about three days in four, so accuracy alone would be misleading.
Does it run in the Strategy Tester?+
No. It needs a live internet connection to the AI provider, so it only runs on a live or demo chart.
